Violence Reduction Alliance

PSHE Comic Books

The Violence Reduction Alliance (VRA) has worked with the Pan-Staffordshire PSHE Education Service to produce education resources to help tackle Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG).

The VRA and PSHE Education Service have produced four comic books targeted at primary school students to help raise awareness and influence the way they would respond to negative behaviours.

The comic books follow students of Oatcake Primary School and their experiences of bullying, personal space awareness, harassment and photo sharing.

The Pan-Staffordshire PSHE Education Service has also produced an issue of the comic books around County Lines.

The comic books have been designed to encourage students to think about what they would do if they were faced with certain situations.

Animations on each of the comic books have also been produced to help support students with a range of abilities.

To support teachers in delivering the sessions, each comic books come with an education pack which include links to digital versions of the comics and animations, best practice information and four activities to start discussions with students.

If you work in an educational setting and would like access to the comic books and supporting resources please log in to the PSHE Resource Library below.
